Hi, I'm Iva!
Have you ever reached a plateau and needed guidance to revive your momentum? Whether this has happened in your business or in your life, you may have struggled to know how to move forward.
Just recently, I felt like I hit a plateau in my business! I would go to my office and sit, staring at my computer screen. The usual joy in what I do and the creativity that typically flows easily would not come for me. I was still energized when coaching my clients, but I was struggling with content creation, promoting my offers, and the back-end work of running my business.

If you’re an entrepreneur, you know that it is hard to shut off the flow of creativity. There is often a barrage of ideas flowing through your head. And yet, as I sat at my desk, with few ideas coming to me, it felt defeating.

If you are ambitious and results-focused, this can feel challenging! But in the Neuro coaching world, we call it slowing down to speed up! If I have reached a plateau, I am not feeling joy in what I am doing, and I am not operating at my best, it is an invitation to pause.
Let’s dive deeper into this simple act:
This is absolute gold!! Sometimes we can get so focused on the next steps that we forget to celebrate our progress. When we celebrate our progress, we see how far we have actually come, and our brains shift how we look at things. Instead of feeling behind, we can experience excitement and gratefulness for how far we have come, and most of all, how much we’ve grown as a person!
Here’s why it’s crucial to stop, look back, and truly celebrate your progress:

It is easy to think that our growth is a straight line always moving upwards, when in reality it is not! Sometimes we reach a plateau, we stall and stay there for a while. But that doesn’t mean that all hope is lost!
It is simply an invitation to look more closely at what we are doing to reach our end result. If what we are doing isn’t producing the desired results, perhaps it is an invitation to try something different.
As motivated, driven individuals, we’re often taught to commit to our vision and persevere. While that is necessary, there’s also value in regularly evaluating our course and making necessary adjustments. Here’s why this practice is invaluable:
Reaching a plateau is the perfect time to make any necessary adjustments.
